Today I loaded a roll of 120 film into my Yashica 12 (TLR). The last time was almost 3 years ago before my son was born, I guess.<\/p>\n

It is always a special feeling when loading a film into a manual camera. Slowly putting the film into the slot, making sure it moves when you advance the film, seeing the number jumps to 1, then 2, 3 after each shot. Well, a ritual to slow you down…<\/p>\n

With the convenience of camera phone, it makes me lazy to bring a film camera along. I loaded a roll of Kodak Portra 400 into my Olympus OM1 and finished it almost after 6 months! Another reason is that my son usually wants me to use digital camera instead, so that he can see the pictures instantly.<\/p>\n

Anyway, here are the results. And yes, I’m still taking photos – just different focus.<\/p>\n
