There are several ceremonies in a traditional Vietnamese wedding: an engagement ceremony where both families meet up, then the customary wedding where the bride leaves her home to the groom’s house, followed by a banquet (kinda Western style)

We have a chance to cover all of these in details as the bride is my sister (yay!). Being an ‘insider’ has its pros n cons, especially when you can’t be just an observer to document it. Got to shoot and be a brother/sister-in-law too.
